Caris Easy View is a popular viewer that allows you to display digital marine raster and vector charts. This program contains all features of Caris Easy-Enc program and has an improved interface. It supports a wide range of chart formats, including CARIS, S-57, ENC, Inland ENC, and VPF vector data formats. It also supports the following raster data types: GeoTIFF, BSB, HCRF, TIF/IGA, TIF/TFW and many more. This application is easy to use even for a beginner.
Caris Easy View allows you to connect to a WMS server (Web Map Service, which provides geo-registered map images from one or more distributed geospatial databases) and take there various maps for further visualization. Also you can load VPF libraries, AutoCAD files, Base/Bag grids, GeoTiff images and LOTS grids.
Caris Easy View program gives you full control of your data. You can change the draw order, change a position, depth, distance and area units, make display settings, change colors, type and format. Also there is a 3D visualization technology that allows you to see your data in 3D environment. The results can be saved in XML and AVI digital video formats.
